About The Position

Colonial Heritage Club is hiring Banquet Servers to help provide members and guests with a welcoming, high-quality experience at events. The role includes serving food and beverages, supporting guests throughout their visit, processing payments, and maintaining clean, orderly service areas. Team members may also answer phones and assist wherever needed. Training materials and procedures will be provided. Duties and responsibilities may change, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• Knowledge of state liquor laws.
• Use good judgment when checking identification and assessing whether a guest has had enough alcohol.
• Friendly, professional service, including when assisting unhappy guests.
• Organized and dependable, with the ability to stay calm when plans change.
• A team-oriented approach and willingness to help without being asked.

Nice To Haves

• Restaurant or banquet experience is preferred, though training will be provided to the right person.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, assist with seating, and explain menus, wine lists, and daily specials.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and deliver them to the kitchen and bar promptly.
• Check plates before serving and coordinate with the kitchen to correct problems.
• Present and pour wine and champagne appropriately.
• Refill drinks, suggest desserts, and attend to guest needs.
• Handle checks, payments, and receipts, and close out daily sales.
• Clear and reset tables, maintain a clean service area, and assist with closing duties.
• Answer the phone and help the team wherever needed.
