About The Position

Chesapeake's Event Center in West Knoxville is looking for dependable, energetic Banquet Servers to help create memorable experiences for our Guests during special events, celebrations, and gatherings. Banquet Servers play an important role in keeping events running smoothly. You'll help prepare and maintain dining areas, assist with food and beverage service, clear and reset tables, and support the service team wherever needed. We're looking for someone who works well with others, stays positive in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing friendly, attentive service.

Requirements

• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a good sense of humor
• Friendly personality and a natural willingness to engage with Guests
• Strong communication and basic math skills
• Ability to work efficiently while supporting the needs of the entire event team
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and remain active throughout the workday

Nice To Haves

• Previous banquet, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferred
