About The Position
The Banquet Runner supports banquet events by transporting food, beverages, and supplies between kitchen and event areas, maintaining clean and organized banquet and back-of-house spaces, and providing professional guest service. The role may also involve clearing tables and assisting with event breakdown and room resets. The position pays $21.00 an hour. Employees may need to lift up to 50 pounds and perform extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting, and kneeling for up to eight hours. Required attire is a black T-shirt, black pants, and black non-slip safety shoes.
Requirements
- Experience in food and beverage (F&B).
- Reliable and punctual.
- Customer-service oriented.
- Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with event breakdown and room reset after functions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet and back-of-house areas.
- Transport food, beverages, and supplies between the kitchen and event areas.
- Clear tables and promptly remove dishes, glassware, and utensils.
- Provide friendly and professional guest service.
