About The Position

The Stamford Doubletree is seeking a Banquet Manager to lead and grow their banquet team. This role involves guiding the team through coaching and training, leading day-to-day operations with a people-first mindset, and partnering with sales, culinary, and events teams for flawless event execution. The Banquet Manager will also be responsible for balancing budgets, managing labor, supplies, and revenue, and ensuring a clean, safe, and guest-wowing environment.

Requirements

Customer service experience.
At least 1 year of banquet food service experience.
A minimum of 6 months in a supervisory role.
Leadership potential or experience.
Food and alcohol certifications (or willingness to complete in 90 days).
Physical stamina, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing during the entire shift.
