About The Position

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Jose is seeking a part-time Banquet Houseperson to prepare and maintain banquet spaces for events while helping deliver memorable guest experiences. The hotel has 505 rooms and is located less than five minutes from San Jose International Airport and ten minutes from downtown San Jose. The role involves setting up tables and chairs according to event requirements, cleaning and preparing banquet rooms, and monitoring the space to promptly address spills, discarded service items, and other issues. The ideal candidate has schedule flexibility; previous customer service experience is highly preferred. Hilton emphasizes hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency.

Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make the guest experience special.
Set up tables and chairs according to the requirements for each function.
Clean and prepare banquet rooms, ensuring walls and surfaces are spotless.
