About The Position

The House Attendant supports the Banqueting Teams in achieving shared goals and guest satisfaction. The role involves setting up, breaking down, and servicing meeting rooms, event spaces, and banquet public areas according to Joule standards and specific requests.

Requirements

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and impeccable service and presentation standards.
Must be able to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check to drive the Banquet van.
Must be able to lift and move objects weighing upwards of 50 pounds.
Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
Excellent customer service and communication skills to work with tenants.
Operate with passion, respect, integrity, dedication, and empowerment toward internal and external guests.

Responsibilities

Maintain established cleaning schedules for meeting rooms and back-of-house and front-of-house spaces.
Supply and replenish meeting rooms with fresh tablecloths, clean glasses, bottles of water, and other items.
Set up and break down meeting rooms according to function sheets, including carrying tables and chairs.
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
Care for banquet equipment and identify and report damaged items.
Help guide and monitor outside vendors during load-in and load-out.
Occasionally drive the Banquet van to and from offsite event spaces.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the supervisor.
