About The Position

The Banquet Houseman provides friendly, attentive service to external and internal guests, maintaining a positive and enthusiastic demeanor. The role involves anticipating guest needs, providing prompt and reliable service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The employee should be informed about facility hours, promotions, and other relevant guest information, and should promote Harrah’s and its Total Rewards programs while representing the company positively.

Requirements

Able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
Able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Six months of experience in Hotel Sales or Catering departments preferred.

Execute service programs that prioritize service to the best guests.
Check for guest satisfaction and use the Service Recovery process to resolve problems.
Promote Total Rewards programs, registration, and membership.
Provide guests with a warm farewell and thank them for visiting.
Promote Harrah’s and represent the company positively to guests.
