About The Position
The Banquet Houseman stages event areas, assists during functions, and provides customer service to guests. The role reports to the Banquets Manager. Work days and shifts vary based on business and banquet needs.
Requirements
- At least one year of customer service experience in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to bend and carry repeatedly during a shift.
Responsibilities
- Prepare event and meeting spaces, setting up tables, chairs, equipment, and other items according to event orders.
- Tear down event and meeting spaces, and organize and clean the Entertainment and Events area.
- Transfer supplies and equipment for functions as available.
- Ensure appropriate equipment is available for each function.
- Check assigned events for details and special circumstances.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, addressing and resolving concerns or inquiries.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
