About The Position

The Banquet Houseman sets up and breaks down meeting and banquet rooms according to event orders and high cleanliness standards. The role keeps event spaces refreshed and guest-ready throughout the day, including during coffee breaks, and transports supplies and materials such as boxes, programs, and décor. The Banquet Houseman supports food and beverage service by bussing and resetting tables, while providing friendly service, anticipating guest needs, and resolving minor issues.

Requirements

• Strength and stamina to lift and move up to 50 pounds and remain on their feet for most of the shift.
• Attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting and banquet rooms according to event orders and cleanliness standards.
• Keep event spaces refreshed and guest-ready throughout the day, including during coffee breaks.
• Transport supplies and materials, including boxes, programs, and décor.
• Support food and beverage service by bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve minor issues with a friendly approach.
• Work collaboratively with the team and follow instructions.
