About The Position

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for setting up, mixing drinks, serving guests, and cleaning the bar area while providing quality service, supporting guest satisfaction, and maintaining company standards and profitability. The position serves guests and cocktail servers according to established beverage-service and safety procedures, processes guest payments and charges, and helps maintain bar supplies and inventory. The role requires compliance with state liquor laws and completion of scheduled sidework.

Requirements

• Bartending training and certification.
• TIPS certification.
• At least 6 months of bartending experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions in English and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Able to perform multiple tasks, stay organized, and attend to details in crowded and noisy situations.
• Able to use tact and understanding when handling customer-service problems, including stressful and emotional situations.
• Able to accurately count cash and operate a cash register.

Responsibilities

• Set up, mix drinks, serve guests and cocktail servers, and clean the bar area.
• Follow established beverage-service, safety-control, and company procedures and policies.
• Provide cordial, efficient, and professional guest service with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ring guest checks, collect cash, and process credit and room charges according to company policies and procedures.
• Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.
• Know and comply with state liquor laws.
• Ensure established inventory pars are maintained.
• Perform sidework duties according to assigned schedules.
