Banquet Bartender

About The Position
The Banquet Bartender provides friendly guest service and maintains a clean, professional, high-quality bar. The role includes setting up and closing the bar, following drink-service guidelines, and serving guests consistently. The bartender works in hotel, ski-area, Nordic Center, restaurant, lounge, and kitchen settings, with exposure to food and beverages and potentially extreme temperatures.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Prior bartending experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up the bar area.
- Follow predefined drink-service guidelines and maintain familiarity with beverages.
- Implement beverage service and serve all guests consistently.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- Monitor liquor costs and minimize waste.
- Know and follow policies related to liquor liability laws.
- Close the bar.
- Follow revenue-related procedures.
- Stay aware of functions, events, and meetings taking place.
