About The Position

The Banquet Bartender helps deliver exceptional service during receptions, meetings, trainings, and social gatherings. The role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere and preparing quality beverages while supporting event setup, service, breakdown, and cleaning. The position requires strong beverage-service knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. The schedule must be flexible and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The stated hourly rate is $5 plus tips.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of common cocktails, beverage service standards, and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Previous bartending or banquet service experience.

Responsibilities

• Know and comply with departmental policies, service procedures, and Brand standards.
• Assist with event setup, bar execution, breakdown, and cleaning.
• Perform side work to prepare for upcoming events.
• Greet guests warmly and ensure their service needs are met throughout the event.
• Communicate effectively with guests and answer beverage-related questions.
• Take beverage orders and prepare cocktails accurately and efficiently.
• Understand Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and accurately count liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage inventory at the end of each event.
• Anticipate guest needs and monitor overall satisfaction with service.
