Banking Operations Analyst

This role is part of the Treasury Banking Operations team at Zepz, a global remittance group. The main focus of the role is to enhance processes and manage day-to-day operational set ups with banking partners. The role involves responsibilities such as preparing necessary documents for opening/closing bank accounts, coordinating internal activities, maintaining relationships with banking partners, and supporting the implementation of global FX and banking infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics, experience in a similar position or banking/Fintech, and a strong understanding of KYC processes and bank account management.

• Be responsible for preparation of necessary documents for opening / closing of bank accounts and liquidity providers
• Coordinate internally for activation / deactivation of bank accounts, set-up and testing
• Preparation of periodic KYC/EDD reviews for the Group’s banking partners
• Maintain and periodically update bank mandates including KYC across the Group
• Manage and keep up-to-date Group Signatory Database
• Maintain relationships with banking partners and liquidity providers
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders such as Legal team, Compliance, Network and FX teams as well as Country Managers around the world
• Support implementation of Global FX and Banking infrastructure
• Contribute in any project implementation and AdHoc

• A degree at university or equivalent with major in either Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Experience in a similar position or banking / Fintech
• Understanding of KYC process, bank account management and preparation of documents
• A high level of attention to details
