About The Position

At Regions, the Bank Operations Specialist performs a variety of operational tasks within Bank Operations. The role receives and reviews incoming work, resolves inquiries and related issues, prepares and handles documents, and follows established guidelines and procedures under general supervision. It also supports compliance, risk management, cybersecurity practices, process improvements, and disciplined change management.

This position is based at the Riverchase Operations Center in Hoover, Alabama. Associates work onsite with full-day attendance in the office and must be flexible to work scheduled hours between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, based on business needs. Time is tracked, and hours worked beyond 40 per week are eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance.
• Data entry and typing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, based on business needs.

Responsibilities
