About The Position

The Bakery Retail Associate works part-time on Dorothy Lane Market’s retail Bakery team, helping deliver an exceptional shopping experience through product knowledge and outstanding customer service. The DLM Bakeries offer desserts and European breads made in the DLM Bakehouse.

The role includes serving customers, recommending products, packaging and labeling items, and maintaining the department’s cleanliness and presentation. Associates are expected to follow the DLM Team Values: Be Honest, Safe, Helpful, and Hard-Working.

Requirements

• A desire to make people happy by providing Honestly Better® Food and Service.
• Willingness to learn about and taste great food.
• Willingness to practice the DLM Team Values: Be Honest, Safe, Helpful, and Hard-Working.
• Effective communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities
