About The Position
Assist the Assistant Pastry Chef in preparing and presenting pastries for restaurants and banquet use.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in a large hotel pastry department preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Culinary school education preferred.
- Two years of experience in a large hotel pastry department preferred.
Responsibilities
- Decorate and finish all cakes and pastries according to house specifications.
- Understand how to use all equipment in the Pastry Shop.
- Maintain the workstation in compliance with State and Local Health Department codes.
- Report violations and malfunctioning equipment to the Assistant Pastry Chef.
- Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned.
