About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate supports selling efforts and customer relationships by providing strong customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance, with a focus on customer service, sales, and teamwork.

The associate helps customers select appropriate merchandise, assists with shipments, restocking, pricing, and merchandising, and follows visual standards. The role also helps maintain an orderly sales floor and organized store, supports loss-prevention efforts, and complies with company policies and service and product programs. Reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to support customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Display basic fashion and trend knowledge and help customers select appropriate merchandise while building customer relationships and maintaining company standards.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Provide customers with a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic impression and attitude.
• Comply with company policies and participate in service training and product programs.
• Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
• Help prevent employee and customer theft.
• Maintain a neat and orderly sales environment and keep the store organized as directed by store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
