About The Position
The Baker produces bakery goods of the highest quality. The role reports to the Bakery Manager and includes preparing products from recipes or prepared mixes, baking and monitoring products, maintaining department equipment, and supporting bakery operations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Work up and mix products from recipes or prepared mixes.
- Set ovens, bake products, and monitor the baking process.
- Operate and maintain all department equipment.
- Determine quantities of ingredients needed to order.
- Unload and verify deliveries.
- Perform all functions of a bakery clerk when necessary.
- Monitor temperatures in freezer and cooler areas.
- Follow all company policies.
- Perform other duties as directed.
