About The Position

Festival Foods is seeking a part-time Bagger to provide friendly, efficient service to guests in a grocery store checkout environment. The role focuses on creating a welcoming shopping experience, bagging groceries according to company procedures, keeping the checkout area clean and supplied, and supporting the team’s service and quality standards. The position reports to the Guest Service Department Manager and requires availability from 3–7 p.m. The schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the associate’s availability and business needs.

Requirements

Ability to create a welcoming environment and provide superior guest service.
Attention to detail when bagging items and maintaining product quality.
Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers.
Ability to read, count, and write accurately, and operate necessary equipment.
Ability to stand in place for long periods and walk in the store.
Ability to bend, stoop, and lift or push 15–20 pounds regularly and 50 pounds intermittently.
Fine-finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed and within availability, in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests, providing a welcoming and helpful checkout experience.
Bag groceries according to procedures while maintaining product integrity and guest satisfaction.
Keep the checkout area clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
Share guest requests and feedback with the leadership team.
Provide prompt and courteous parcel pickup service.
Help maintain standards and meet quality expectations by 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
Attend work regularly and on time in accordance with the schedule, and provide adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
