About The Position
The Baggage Runner assists passengers and airline ticketing agents by lifting, moving, and properly transporting luggage. The role is located at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and pays $16.00 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. ABM describes this as a good job for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Meet arriving passengers and assist them at baggage claim.
- Carry or otherwise transport passenger luggage between the outside sidewalk or airport main entrance and the inside ticket counter.
- Assist with proper handling of oversized luggage, kennels, and skis weighing up to or more than 50 pounds, which may require frequent bending and lifting.
- Ensure passenger luggage is placed on the belt within the designated time frame.
- Follow required security procedures and hazardous-material handling requirements.
- Maintain and restock baggage supplies.
- Replenish tubs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
