Requirements

- English is the primary language used in our hotel. Our Backservers must feel comfortable communicating in this language.
- You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
- Attention to detail is critical for this role.

- Our hotels operate nonstop; this requires flexibility from everyone on the team.
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining immaculate tabletops and service stations at all times, ensuring that linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, condiments and ice are always fully stocked, polished and guest ready.
- Working closely alongside Servers, assisting with the running of food and beverages, clearing courses with precision and timing, and ensuring the flow of service remains seamless and uninterrupted throughout the dining experience.
- Preparing coffee and refreshing water to supporting special occasion setups, anticipating what is needed and delivering it without disrupting the flow of the dining experience.
- Preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up, and reporting these and working with several other positions to correct.
- Maintaining open communication with the service team and the extended hotel team, ensuring the dining room is always one step ahead.
- Representing The Beverly Hills Hotel with pride, always upholding the principles, goals and policies of The Beverly Hills Hotel Pledge.
