About The Position

The Back Up Scan Coordinator maintains overall price integrity in the assigned Sprouts Farmers Market store. The role carries a significant level of accuracy and responsibility and includes carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly price changes; changing shelf signs and tags and promotional signs; and ensuring compliance with company and governmental regulations. The coordinator verifies weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage across all departments. The role requires working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, and 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze total scanning programs and maintain reports and schedules.
• Ability to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.
• Excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
• Ability to read price tags, create signs, and post price tags and signs; good vision is required to read and set signs.
• Ability to staple, scan, use a computer to activate new pricing, and use a step ladder.
• Ability to transfer boxes weighing up to 17 pounds vertically or horizontally from 1 to 34 inches, up to 8 feet, for up to 1 hour.
• Ability to walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour period.
• Ability to perform repetitive crouching, kneeling, and squatting to access a point 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.
