About The Position
The Back Up Scan Coordinator maintains price integrity in an assigned Sprouts Farmers Market store. The role conducts daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf tags and signs and promotional signage, while ensuring compliance with company and government regulations. The coordinator verifies weekly ad price changes, promotional pricing, and pricing signage across all departments, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. The position also supports positive customer experiences and requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work varied hours and days as business needs dictate.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent, and 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze scanning programs and maintain reports and schedules.
- Ability to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.
- Excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Outgoing, friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
- Ability to read price tags, create and post signs and price tags, staple, scan, use a computer to activate new pricing, and use a step ladder.
- Good vision to read and set signs.
- Ability to vertically and horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 pounds from 1 to 34 inches, over a distance of up to 8 feet, for up to 1 hour.
- Ability to walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour period.
- Ability to repeatedly crouch, kneel, and squat to access a point 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.
