About The Position

The Back Up Scan Coordinator supports price integrity in an assigned Sprouts Farmers Market store. The role requires significant accuracy and responsibility and involves conducting daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf signs and tags and promotional signage while ensuring compliance with company and government regulations. The coordinator verifies weekly ad price changes, promotional prices, and pricing signage across all departments, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
Possess excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Have an outgoing, friendly manner, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
Be able to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
Be able to read price tags, create signs, and post price tags and signs; good vision is required to read and set signs.
Be able to staple, scan, use a computer to activate new pricing, and use a step ladder.
Be able to vertically and horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 pounds from 1 to 34 inches, up to 8 feet, for up to 1 hour.
Be able to walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour period.
Be able to perform repetitive crouching, kneeling, and squatting to access a point 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes.
Change shelf signs and tags and promotional signs.
Ensure compliance with company and governmental regulations.
Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage in all departments.
Maintain price integrity in the assigned store.
Analyze scanning programs and maintain required reports and schedules.
Use billing and accounting principles and processes.
