About The Position

The Back Up Scan Coordinator maintains price integrity in an assigned Sprouts Farmers Market store. The role conducts daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, updates shelf tags and promotional signage, and helps ensure compliance with company and government regulations. The coordinator verifies weekly ad price changes, promotional pricing, and pricing signage across all departments. The position requires working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent, and 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze total scanning programs and maintain reports and schedules.
Ability to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.
Excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Outgoing, friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
Ability to read price tags, create and post signs and price tags, staple, scan, use a computer to activate new pricing, and use a step ladder.
Good vision to read and set signs.
Ability to transfer boxes weighing up to 17 pounds vertically and horizontally from 1 to 34 inches, up to 8 feet, for up to 1 hour.
Ability to walk up to 4 miles per 8 hours.
Ability to perform repetitive crouching, kneeling, and squatting to access a point 6 inches from the ground.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes.
Change shelf signs and tags and update promotional signs.
Ensure compliance with company and governmental regulations related to pricing.
Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage in all departments.
Maintain necessary reports and schedules related to scanning and pricing programs.
Use a computer to activate new pricing.
Interact positively with customers, employees, and vendors.
