About The Position

As a Back Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations of industrial systems and equipment associated with Reworld’s industrial disposal process. You will perform operational tasks and equipment inspections, document findings, troubleshoot equipment, and support maintenance teams by safely completing lock-out/tag-out processes. The role also uses weekly activity books and critical items checklists to complete operational and equipment function checks.

This position requires operating heavy industrial equipment and working a rotating shift schedule. The physical demands include walking, standing, sitting, climbing, lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, working at heights and in confined spaces, qualifying to wear a full-face respirator, and working in varied weather conditions.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections using designated industrial equipment and hand or power tools.
• Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details according to facility procedures.
• Troubleshoot assigned equipment and report issues and repair requests through defined work-order processes and procedures.
• Use weekly activity books and critical items checklists to perform operational and equipment-related function checks.
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes in support of assigned maintenance teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
