About The Position

As a member of the hospitality team, the Back Aisle Attendant prepares the back service area for banquet functions and supports Banquet associates with equipment and service needs. The role organizes equipment according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and the Banquet Captain's requirements, communicates special equipment needs to the Banquet Manager, and helps ensure a smooth flow of service during events. The attendant maintains clean, organized service aisles; assists with clearing and transporting dirty dishes; prepares coffee and tea upon request; and helps set up and break down events. The position also supports prompt food and beverage service by transporting supplies and assisting service staff.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license for operating golf carts, if required for the role.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds for short periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the back service area for banquet functions and provide Banquet associates with necessary equipment and service support.
• Collaborate with the Banquet Manager and Stewarding Manager to understand and communicate special equipment requirements for events.
• Organize equipment according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and the instructions of the Captain or Chef.
• Respond to requests from the Captain or Chef to replenish food, China, glassware, silverware, and linen supplies.
• Safely transport food, dishes, utensils, and other necessary items from kitchen areas to event locations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of service aisles and equipment throughout events.
• Assist with clearing dirty dishes and returning them to the kitchen as needed.
• Support Banquets service staff to ensure food and beverages are delivered promptly and at appropriate temperatures.
• Prepare coffee and tea for guests as requested.
• Thoroughly clean and clear breakdown tables and properly dispose of event-area trash.
• Assist service staff with setting up and breaking down functions as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
