About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a B-Lux Supervisor to help deliver its guest experience. The supervisor exemplifies company standards and behaviors by ensuring guests receive food and beverages with a fun, friendly, professional, and attentive approach. The role includes training, developing, and coaching associates, completing administrative duties, and supporting an environment where associates feel guided and supported and guests receive extraordinary service. The supervisor supports the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and Food & Beverage Director; understands and communicates policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs for the resort’s food and beverage outlets; and enforces them with restaurant associates. The supervisor also fills in as an associate when needed to maintain guest-service standards and efficient daily operations.

Requirements

Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant is required.
Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectively.

Nice To Haves

General food and beverage knowledge.
At least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations and/or supervisory experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Support the Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, and Food & Beverage Director.
Understand and communicate policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs for food and beverage outlets within the resort.
Enforce policies and procedures with restaurant associates.
Fill in as an associate when needed to meet guest-service standards and maintain efficient daily operations.
Develop, coach, and train staff in all areas of professional development.
Provide guests with food and beverages in a fun, friendly, professional, and attentive manner.
Complete necessary administrative duties.
