•$111,200 - $177,900

About The Position

NFP, an Aon company, is hiring an AVP, Broking Services to serve as a strategic partner between U.S. business teams and the Global Capability Center (GCC). The role supports alignment, visibility, and accountability across shared workstreams, using data and cross-functional relationships to identify capacity needs, risks, and opportunities, resolve issues, and keep work progressing across teams and time zones. The position works with GCC and U.S. leaders to assess demand, workload, capacity, and resources; coordinate priorities and handoffs; identify risks and recurring issues; and provide leadership with clear updates and actionable insights. It also supports adoption of established processes and change initiatives while maintaining role clarity and partnering with, rather than taking on, GCC leaders’ people-management and day-to-day execution responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, organizational leadership, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to establish trust across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ability to influence outcomes and drive accountability without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including pattern recognition, root-cause identification, and translating information into practical recommendations.
  • Ability to assess workload, capacity, risks, dependencies, and competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailored to team members, managers, and senior leaders.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, coordinate across functions, and move issues from identification through resolution.
  • Strong organizational skills and disciplined follow-through on actions, commitments, and escalations.
  • Ability to balance partnership and diplomacy with clear expectations and accountability.
  • Commitment to process consistency, continuous improvement, and scalable ways of working.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience partnering with offshore, global, or Global Capability Center teams.
  • Experience using reporting, metrics, and trend analysis to support leadership decisions and improvement initiatives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and resolving issues spanning teams, functions, or geographic locations.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment and influencing leaders and stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Health and Life License.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner between GCC leadership and U.S. business participants across supported workstreams.
  • Build relationships that promote communication, shared accountability, and alignment on priorities and expectations.
  • Assess demand, workload, capacity, and resource needs across workstreams, and surface constraints or coverage gaps.
  • Review GCC reports daily to identify priorities, risks, dependencies, and handoffs; provide a daily priorities report at the start of the GCC working day and coordinate work to advance while U.S. teams are offline.
  • Identify bottlenecks, recurring issues, risks, and trends that may affect service delivery, business outcomes, or partner experience.
  • Use data and collaborator input to develop actionable insights and support leadership decisions.
  • Promote adoption of processes, tools, workflows, and standards, and identify where further clarity or reinforcement is needed.
  • Coordinate cross-functional issues through resolution by clarifying ownership, tracking actions and dependencies, and following through until closure.
  • Facilitate timely discussion and decision-making during GCC working hours to reduce delays caused by limited time-zone overlap.
  • Partner with GCC and U.S. leaders to address systemic challenges and implement balanced improvements.
  • Update leadership on capacity, risks, trends, unresolved issues, and progress against agreed actions.
  • Support change initiatives affecting GCC and U.S. teams by clarifying expectations, impacts, and responsibilities.
  • Maintain role clarity by partnering with GCC leaders rather than assuming their people-leadership or day-to-day execution responsibilities.
