Automotive Vehicle Exchange Specialist
About The Position
Capital Auto Group is seeking a customer-focused, motivated Automotive Vehicle Exchange Specialist to help customers explore opportunities to upgrade or exchange their current vehicles. The role centers on building customer relationships, evaluating trade-ins, and delivering a seamless experience while maximizing sales opportunities. The specialist connects with customers, understands their needs, presents vehicle options, evaluates trade-in vehicles, and negotiates trade-in values and pricing. The role also includes explaining upgrade benefits, assisting with exchange paperwork, and building relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in automotive sales, vehicle appraisals, or customer service.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of automotive products, vehicle features, and market trends.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Successful completion of required pre-employment screenings.
Responsibilities
- Connect with customers interested in upgrading or exchanging their vehicles.
- Build relationships, understand customer needs, and present vehicle options.
- Evaluate trade-in vehicles and determine market value.
- Explain the benefits of upgrading and transitioning into another vehicle.
- Negotiate trade-in values and pricing to create mutually beneficial deals.
- Assist with vehicle exchange paperwork and documentation.
- Build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
