About The Position

The Automotive Technician performs basic and advanced vehicle maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles perform appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role applies in-depth automotive repair knowledge and provides high-quality service. The technician performs skilled mechanical work, analyzes and diagnoses problems, inspects and repairs or replaces defective parts, and performs preventative maintenance. The technician is also expected to keep current with changing automotive technology, demonstrate the company’s vision, mission, and core values in interactions with customers, coworkers, managers, and suppliers, follow company policies and safety standards, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional auto service and engine diagnostic experience.
Must have technician tools.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

ASE Certification is preferred, but not required.
