About The Position

Wissler Motors is seeking an experienced, skilled, and motivated automotive service technician to join its team. The technician will diagnose, maintain, and repair domestic and foreign vehicles, helping ensure high-quality service while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. The role involves working with other technicians and communicating with the service department to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver strong customer service. Wissler Motors is a family-owned and operated business with more than 60 years of history. The company sells used cars, services all makes and models, operates a full body and paint shop, and has a NAPA store. The job requires at least five years of experience working in an automotive shop and valid state driver's and emissions licenses. The schedule is an 8.5-hour shift Monday through Friday, with a rotating Saturday shift from 8:00 to 1:00.

Requirements

At least five years of experience working in an automotive shop.
Valid state driver's license.
Valid emissions license.

Responsibilities

Perform automotive diagnostics to identify vehicle issues.
Conduct mechanical work and maintenance on domestic and foreign vehicles.
Perform vehicle alignments and ensure proper handling.
Service and repair automotive electrical systems.
Work with other technicians on advanced repairs, problem-solving, meeting deadlines, and delivering quality results for customers.
Communicate effectively with the service department and provide excellent customer service.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles.
