Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician
About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician for a full-time position in the Miami, Florida area. The role offers a five-day work week and an hourly, non-flat-rate wage of $18–$24, depending on experience and certifications. Technicians also earn commissions paid every two weeks, typically ranging from $400 to $1,400 based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Employees may receive a one-time $500 bonus for certifications earned while employed. The technician maintains and repairs customers’ vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options in clear terms, and completes repairs agreed upon with customers. The role also includes providing regular vehicle maintenance and delivering fast, friendly, clean, professional service. Atlantic Coast Enterprises is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have personal tools.
- Honest and reliable, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Service-oriented and attentive to detail.
- Able to troubleshoot vehicle issues and explain technical information in layman's terms.
