About The Position

Audi Modesto, part of the Del Grande Dealer Group (DGDG), is seeking an Automotive Technician to inspect vehicles and perform necessary repairs while helping create a world-class automotive retail experience. The role emphasizes accurate, efficient work, guest satisfaction, and communication with Service Advisors. DGDG provides in-house training and opportunities for career development and advancement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of automotive diagnosis and problem-solving experience.
• Hands-on experience with Audi vehicles, including familiarity with manufacturer-specific systems and diagnostic procedures.
• DMV check required.
• Willingness to participate in in-house training.
• Ability to operate all auto repair tools.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications are a plus.
• X-Time/CDK experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and perform appropriate repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Perform multi-point inspections on every vehicle.
• Maintain knowledge of current automotive repair practices.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Learn new technical information and techniques to stay proficient in automotive diagnosis and repair.
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for customers and dealership records.
• Communicate with Service Advisors so customers are informed of additional services needed.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Complete work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
