About The Position

Audi/VW of State College is hiring energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated automotive technicians to join its growing team. The role offers the opportunity to support customers and the community while developing a career. Technicians test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and service equipment to test components and systems; diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems; estimate the time needed for additional repairs; and complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of service technician experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Provide estimates of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
