About The Position

Audi/VW of State College is hiring energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated automotive technicians to join its team. The role offers the opportunity to support customers and the community while pursuing career and financial goals. Technicians test-drive vehicles, use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test vehicle components and systems, and diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems. They also estimate the time needed for additional repairs and complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Provide estimates of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
