About The Position
Bell Audi is hiring an experienced Certified Audi Technician for its Service Department in Edison, New Jersey. The technician diagnoses, maintains, and repairs Audi vehicles to manufacturer standards, with a focus on quality, safety, and performance. The position offers full-time employment at a luxury dealership, with hourly pay of $25–$42 depending on skills and experience. Work is performed in person at Bell Audi.
Requirements
- Audi factory certification is required.
- At least 3 years of professional automotive technician experience.
- At least 1 year of dealership experience.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing complex automotive concerns.
- Knowledge of Audi repair procedures and manufacturer specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Dependable work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to commute to Edison, NJ 08817 is required.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certification.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns on Audi vehicles.
- Perform comprehensive multi-point inspections.
- Complete maintenance and repairs according to Audi factory specifications.
- Use Audi diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Identify repairs and maintenance needed to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures, technical bulletins, and service guidelines.
- Complete work accurately, efficiently, and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors, Parts personnel, and fellow technicians to maintain efficient workflow.
- Stay current with Audi technology, diagnostic procedures, and factory training.
