About The Position

Carvana is seeking an experienced automotive technician to perform a full range of vehicle repairs and diagnostics at a high-tech Inspection Center. Work includes general and complex repairs on all makes and models, from light maintenance to timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work. The technician will also diagnose and repair advanced electrical issues, including on electric and hybrid vehicles, and complete repairs involving wheel bearings, axles, and climate control systems such as air conditioning and heater cores. Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Must use safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities
