About The Position

Carvana is hiring an experienced automotive technician to perform diagnostics and a full range of repairs on vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. Work ranges from light maintenance to complex repairs, including heavy engine work and advanced electrical issues on electric and hybrid vehicles. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may require a motor vehicle records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Successful completion of a background check.
Must not require visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Perform general and complex repairs on all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work.
Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including on electric and hybrid vehicles.
Repair wheel bearings and axles.
Repair vehicle climate-control systems, including air conditioning and heater cores.
