About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Technician-Skilled at Clermont CDJR. The technician performs vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards and builds customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in Napleton as a caregiver for vehicle safety and reliability. The role offers an opportunity to join a large automotive dealership group with more than 3,500 employees, over 50 dealerships, and affiliations with over 25 vehicle brands across seven states.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive technical training or experience as a lube technician or technician assistant.
• Valid in-state driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
• At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspections.
• Check oil levels and communicate them to teammates.
• Ensure tires are properly inflated.
• Perform wheel alignments.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Clean and replace batteries.
• Replace or repair exhaust systems.
• Remove and reinstall brake drums and/or brake shoes.
• Replace radiators.
• Perform manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure the service center is clean and presentable.
