About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Skilled Technician at Napleton KIA of Carmel. The technician performs vehicle maintenance according to dealer and factory standards and builds customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in Napleton as a caregiver for vehicle safety and reliability. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive technical training or experience as a lube technician or technician assistant.
• Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspections.
• Check oil levels and communicate them to teammates.
• Ensure tires are properly inflated.
• Perform wheel alignments.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Clean and replace batteries.
• Replace or repair exhaust systems.
• Remove and reinstall brake drums and/or brake shoes.
• Replace radiators.
• Perform manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment.
• Keep the service center clean and presentable.
• Perform assigned vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Develop customer trust and confidence in the dealership's care for vehicle safety and reliability.
