About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Technician-Skilled at Napleton Italian Imports. The technician performs assigned vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards and builds customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in Napleton as a provider of vehicle safety and reliability. This is an opportunity to join a growing automotive dealership group affiliated with over 25 vehicle brands and more than 50 dealerships across seven states, with over 3,500 employees nationwide.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Automotive technical training or experience as a lube technician or technician assistant.
Valid in-state driver's license and a clean driving record.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

Complete vehicle inspections.
Check oil levels and communicate them to teammates.
Ensure tires are properly inflated.
Perform wheel alignments.
Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter.
Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
Clean and replace batteries.
Replace or repair exhaust systems.
Remove and reinstall brake drums and/or brake shoes.
Replace radiators.
Perform manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment.
Keep the service center clean and presentable.
