About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring a Semi-Skilled Automotive Technician at River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. The technician performs assigned vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards and builds customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in Napleton as a caregiver for vehicle safety and reliability. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Automotive technical training or experience as a skilled automotive technician.
Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

Complete vehicle inspections.
Check oil levels and communicate them to teammates.
Ensure tires are properly inflated.
Perform wheel alignments.
Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter.
Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
Clean and replace batteries.
Replace or repair exhaust systems.
Remove and reinstall brake drums and/or brake shoes.
Replace radiators.
Perform manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment.
Keep the service center clean and presentable.
