About The Position

The Automotive Technician performs basic and advanced vehicle maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles operate appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role involves skilled mechanical work, diagnosing problems, repairing or replacing defective parts, and performing preventive maintenance. Technicians are expected to keep current with changing automotive technology, provide high-quality customer service, follow company policies and safety standards, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

This is a new-store opportunity at the Indian School Road location. The posting lists compensation of $19.50–$35.00 per hour and notes guaranteed hours and no Sunday work. Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional auto service or engine diagnostic experience.
• Must have technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• ASE Certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide customers with service of the highest quality.
• Perform skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problems.
