About The Position

The Automotive Technician performs basic and advanced vehicle maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles are operating appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role applies automotive repair knowledge, performs skilled mechanical work, and analyzes and diagnoses problems. Technicians inspect, replace, or repair defective parts and perform preventive maintenance on automobiles.

The technician provides high-quality customer service, keeps current with changing automotive technology by learning new technical information and techniques, and demonstrates the company’s vision, mission, and core values when interacting with customers, coworkers, managers, and suppliers. The role also requires following company policies, procedures, and safety standards while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional auto service and engine diagnostic experience.
• Must have technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certification is preferred, but not required.
