About The Position

The Automotive Service Advisor reports to the Store Manager and supports operations in the store’s service department. The role helps establish high standards, uphold company values, create a motivated team environment, and improve team performance through hands-on involvement, team development, and execution of store processes. The position also contributes to an industry-leading customer experience.

Outstanding leadership and store management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to mentor others to ensure efficiency.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members.
At least 2 years of experience in a Service Advisor/Writer role.
Proven track record of exceeding business objectives.
Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.
Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Work directly with customers on sales, service, customer opportunities, and adjustments.
Create a highly motivated team environment.
Supervise technicians and service personnel; plan and schedule duties, assign work, and follow up on assignments.
Coach service department teammates on operational issues.
Evaluate service department personnel performance and productivity.
Manage parts inventory and outside purchases; update and restock in-house parts as needed.
Ensure store safety, including use and maintenance of safety equipment.
Ensure proper equipment and hardware layout and positioning in the service department.
Supervise the shop area, equipment, and teammates for compliance with company safety procedures.
Ensure proper inspections are conducted.
