About The Position

The Automotive Service Advisor reports to the Store Manager and supports operations in the store’s service department. The role is responsible for upholding high standards of excellence and company values, building a motivated team environment, and working closely with the Service Team to improve performance. This includes developing team members, executing store processes, and helping deliver an industry-leading customer experience.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a Service Advisor/Writer role.
Outstanding leadership and store management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to mentor others to ensure efficiency.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven track record of exceeding business objectives.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Work directly with customers on sales, service, customer opportunities, and adjustments.
Create a highly motivated team environment.
Supervise technicians and service personnel; plan and schedule duties, assign work, and follow up on assignments.
Coach service department teammates on operational issues.
Evaluate the performance and productivity of service department personnel.
Manage parts inventory and outside purchases, and update and restock in-house parts as needed.
Ensure store safety, including the use and maintenance of safety equipment.
Ensure appropriate equipment and hardware layout and positioning in the service department.
Supervise the shop area, equipment, and teammates to ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
Ensure proper inspections are conducted.
