About The Position

The Automotive Technician performs basic and advanced vehicle maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles are functioning appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role involves applying in-depth automotive repair knowledge, performing skilled mechanical work, diagnosing problems, and inspecting, replacing, or repairing defective parts while carrying out preventive maintenance. Technicians are expected to keep up with changing automotive technology, demonstrate company values in interactions with customers and colleagues, follow company policies and safety standards, and maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional auto service or engine diagnostic experience.
Must have technician tools.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

ASE Certification is preferred but not required.
