About The Position

The Automotive Technician performs basic and advanced vehicle maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to help ensure vehicles operate appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role applies automotive repair knowledge, performs skilled mechanical work, diagnoses problems, and inspects, replaces, or repairs defective parts while carrying out preventive maintenance. Technicians are expected to stay current with changing automotive technology, follow company policies and safety standards, maintain an organized work area, and demonstrate the company’s vision, mission, and core values in interactions with customers, coworkers, managers, and suppliers.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional auto service and engine diagnostic experience.
Must have technician tools.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

ASE Certification is preferred but not required.
