Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician
About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician for its Hialeah, Florida location. This is a full-time role with a 5-day work week. The technician maintains and repairs customers’ vehicles, diagnoses mechanical issues, explains repair options, and completes agreed-upon work. The role also provides regular vehicle maintenance while delivering fast, friendly, and professional customer service. Compensation is an hourly rate of $18–$24, depending on experience and certifications, rather than flat-rate pay. Technicians earn commissions every two weeks based on store-level automotive repair net sales; the stated commission range is $400–$1,400. Hourly pay and commissions may lead to annual compensation above $100,000. Technicians may also receive a one-time $500 bonus for certifications earned while employed by the company. Atlantic Coast Enterprises is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center and a Jiffy Lube franchisee. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have brake work experience.
- Provide your own tools.
- Be honest and reliable, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Be service-oriented and attentive to detail.
- Be able to troubleshoot mechanical issues and explain technical information in layman’s terms.
